Mike is the Vice President at US Rail Systems Inc., bringing nearly 15 years of expertise in complex systems engineering within the rail industry. His extensive experience spans both greenfield and brownfield rail systems projects across North America, including high-speed rail initiatives, where he has earned a reputation as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in troubleshooting and resolving the most complex train control testing and commissioning challenges.

As a technical expert in train control, signaling, and communication systems, Mike possesses a deep skill set in systems engineering, system integration, and the implementation of cutting-edge rail technologies. His ability to quickly identify and resolve root causes of system issues has made him an invaluable problem solver.

Before joining US Rail Systems, Mike held key SME roles at global corporations, including Siemens, where he led their systems integration team. His expertise includes ensuring regulatory compliance (FRA, FTA, FCC, etc.) for rail technology implementations and supporting customers with new rail technology solutions. Mike is well-versed in various project delivery models, such as Design-Build, PPP, and CMGC.

Throughout his career, Mike has successfully managed stakeholders and teams, working closely with C-suite executives, government agencies, and technical staff. His leadership and strategic approach have been instrumental in driving the successful delivery of complex rail programs across North America.
