As Manager of System Safety at US Rail Systems, Key Lewis has more than 20 years of specialized experience in the construction, inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrification projects. With a strong background in Overhead Contact Systems (OCS) construction and maintenance, he brings deep technical expertise and practical leadership to every project.

Throughout his career, Key has contributed to major transit and rail systems across North America, including VTA, Caltrain, RTD-Denver, Sound Transit, UTA, Metrolink, and Regional Transit. His experience spans OCS systems, traction power, and maintenance operations for complex infrastructure networks.

Having advanced from Union Operator to Equipment Superintendent and Contractor Representative, Key has built a reputation for maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. He excels at building strong partnerships within organizations, aligning teams with key business goals, and delivering reliable, efficient results. Known for his relationship-based leadership style, he listens, collaborates, and develops solutions that drive lasting improvements in both process and performance.
