Project Description

Sound Transit’s ST2 program is a multi-billion-dollar program of enhancement and extension projects which will revolutionize the greater Seattle area. The Eastlink and Downtown Redmond line extension project form a pivotal element of the program. These 2-line extensions add 18 miles of track and systems to the Sound Transit network, bringing an additional 12 light rail stations to new previously underserved communities.

US Rail Systems Scope

Sound Transit sought expert rail activation services from US Rail Systems. Our scope includes testing and commissioning oversight, subject matter expert consulting, operations and maintenance readiness, and staff training. We are the primary support consultants working on behalf of Sound Transit to ensure their new assets are reliable and properly integrated into their existing infrastructure.
